Corporate goodness

Yesterday I realized that there was a repetitive problem that would take several hours to fix, and that it would be my boss's boss's job to sort out. I sent her an email and said I'd like to take care of it. It felt so good to do, because I was electing to do it. Much better than if they'd asked me. Also my bosses were surprised and sent me emails IN ALL CAPS with THREE !!! after each line telling me THANKS SO MUCH!!!. In addition I got out of doing a menial task I didn't want to do. Awesome!
