uhm, hello

I just posted for the first time about shoe sizes on checks, I think I encounter things like that frequently and this seems like a good place to share them.
Rachel invited me through a mass facebook event to join and I confess that I joined without exploring what this is all about, until today. (I used to work at Surdyks with Rachel-- hi Rachel) So thanks for putting this together, I'll try and share any tidbits that may help fight cynicism.

Hi Sam, good to hear from you, welcome! I think a lot of people are joining on facebook or myspace (I'd probably do the same thing myself) and then slowly making their way over here.
